CPL LibraryAs of Concordance 2007, and especially Concordance 10, some CPLs listed here may not work correctly. Especially any CPLs involving working with Tags. Also, please be aware LexisNexis Concordance has released a new set of CPLs specifically geared towards working with Concordance 10. The Concordance Programming Language (CPL) was created specifically to meet the many unplanned twists and turns a case can take in the heat of battle, and to provide what programmers call extensibility: The ability of a program to stretch beyond its original capabilities. CPL is why Concordance never has to say "never." For example, let's say a paralegal has mistakenly entered the beginning and ending Bates numbers in the same field. Now he needs to get the ending number out and into a separate ENDBATES field. What to do? Fix it with CPL. Or a paralegal wants her search results to automatically include all cross-referenced documents as well. Attach.CPL will do the job in a snap. These are only a couple of examples of the limitless potential of CPL. What can CPL do for you? You can search CPL programs by category below: Also, I am including all versions of all CPLs that have been developed over the years in one gigantic list. The list has no explanations as to what they will do for you, so please work with them at your own risk. I recommend trying the CPL on a copy of a live database (if you've never used the specific CPL before), or the COWCO practice case. |
