Concordance (10)/Opticon (Concordance Image) Classes


Basic Training

Covers all the basics regards core functionality of the software. Good for beginners or those that have not worked with the software in a long time. I am also End-user certified to train the IPRO viewer, in case your firm uses that as the image viewer and not Opticon/Concordance Image.

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • What is Concordance and Why Is It an Effective Tool?
  • Layouts and Basic Navigation
  • Searching
  • Tagging
  • Reports/Printing
  • Working with Images

Intermediate Training

Review of the basics to fill in any knowledge gaps, and advanced end-user topics. Good for anyone who has been self-taught as an end-user and wants to make sure they are making the most of this terrific tool. Also good for anyone who has worked in the software for any length of time and wants to be as absolutely efficient as possible when working with discovery/documents.

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Review of the Basics (which include the most important elements of the Basic Training topics, above)
  • Advanced Searching
  • Advanced Tagging
  • Advanced Reporting/Printing
  • Coding/Editing
  • Concordance and Other Software (e.g. CaseMap)
  • Document Productions (Opticon)

Advanced/Administrative Training

Covers the most advanced topics possible. Good for anyone wanting to know all Concordance has to offer. Also good for litigation/practice support professionals that need to wrangle with data in-house, or for clients.

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Importing/Exporting
  • Replication
  • Case Modification
  • Case Validation
  • Security
  • Working with CPLs
  • Preferences
  • Working with EDD/ESI
  • Working with All Other Database Structures
  • File Structure Basics
  • Loading/Fixing Images

Custom Training

While I conduct structured classes based on my 14 years in the litigation support business and 10 years of training, there are always times when very specific needs come into play. I can customize classes for any need possible, so please - just let me know!
